Description

Allows to save more than 100K results of analysis

-
Radiation-freeVexTrace users do not have to obtain a special permission to handle radioactive materials and hold no liability for contingency situations.
-
No expensive consumables
Two types of napkins are used in trace mode detection:
- standard aluminum foil napkins, (can later be made by the user);
- spongy paper napkins (for best results with non-smooth surfaces)
-
PortableIn trace mode VexTrace is connected to a heater installed in the front of the device. Thus the detector remains portable. No heater is required for vapor mode operation. This allows to sustain high sensitivity of the device in vapor mode operation.
-
With large colored touch screenUser-friendly interface does not require preliminary operator training. Just press the button to choose the required mode.
-
‘Gas filter’Only the ionized part of the sample reaches the analysis section of VexTrace. Contaminated and neutral molecules are removed via the exhaust of the device. Thus, the analysis duct of the detector is protected from possible contamination.
-
Use in specific conditionsVexTrace is supplied with a nozzle which facilitate the operation under specific conditions.
Use the sampling tube to retrieve samples from objects like bags or boxes in vapor mode. Just insert the tube into any opening (zip area, crack, etc.). -
Two types of packingVexTrace is supplied in two types of packing: a handy bag or in a shock- and water-proof case. The case is also supplied with a custom backpack.
-
Hot battery swappingIn the event of a outage, the detector will use the backup battery, giving enough time to connect the new battery. Thus, you will not have to restart the detector and wait for the software to reboot.
-
2 hours of operation
Standard scope of supply includes 3 31.7 Wh batteries. One battery guarantees 2 hours of operation is vapor mode. Battery charger can charge two batteries simultaneously. Charge time – 2 hours.
- 47.5 Wh batteries can be supplied optionally (are installed directly on the detector).
- 92 Wh battery can be supplied optionally (kept in the operator’s belt- or shoulder-bag).
VexTrace uses standard batteries (Sony / Swift) which can be independently purchased by the customer.
-
Connection to a PC, tablet or smartphoneCan be connected and can be used to monitor the operation of the device, view alarm log or perform remote monitoring. The built-in memory allows to store full device log: time stamp, alarm type and up to 10,000 ionogramms. Access the device in your brow-containerser. No additional software required.
Available connectivity:- Ethernet (wired)
- Wi-Fi (wireless, encrypted)
-
Remote monitoringWireless encoded Internet connection without installing additional software and equipment (VexTrace detectors can be located anywhere in the world).
After connecting remote monitoring, all data about devices and completed operations are transferred to the WEB server with subsequent storage of the necessary information that available only to the client.
Remote monitoring gives the client control over the operation of devices and operators. -
No high temperatures of the analysisVexTrace is based on the principles of ion mobility increment spectrometry, which does not require high temperatures of the analysis section. This means that cold start time for vapor mode operation is about 30 sec.
Allow the heating section 1 minute to warm up for trace mode operation.
VexTrace ensures a false positive ratio even in humid and dusty environments.
-
A wide range of detectable explosivesTNT, RDX, C4, Semtex, PETN, ANFO, EGDN, Nitroglycerine (NG), Dynamite, DNT, Black Powder and theirs mixtures.
-
A wide range of detectionVapor detection threshold under standard conditions (TNT) – 10-14g/cm3
Trace detection threshold under standard conditions (TNT) – 10-10g -
Operating ConditionsVexTrace can be operated at the ambient temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C and relative humidity of up to 95%. VexTrace is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

with built in search radiometer (optional)
It is a new and unique development from INWARD DETECTION that integrates two devices directly together: a portable, high-speed and high-sensitivity detector able to detect and identify explosives in the form of vapors and particles (traces) and a survey radiometer that detects and localizes sources of ionizing gamma radiation.
The integrated radiometer makes it possible to estimate the radiation dose rate, indicate the maximum dosage during operation, and indicate the radiation dosage accumulated during the device’s operation. The operating exposure time of the radiometer is only 1 second, which is an indisputable advantage of this product over its competitors.

| Operating exposure time, sec | 1 |
| Energy range for registered photon emission, keV | from 30 to 3,000 |
| Measurement error of exposure dose rate in the range of 30..3,000 keV, % | less than 30 |
| Exposure dose overrate indication | digital and sound |
| Measurement range for exposure dose rate, mr/hr | 0÷50 |
| Registration sensitivity for radiation with energy of 662 keV (Cs-137) and built-in detector, pulse/(μr/hr) | 1.0 |
